Meshack Oliech’s Update - one and half months in hospital (July 17th 2025).

When Meshack ran to our car six weeks ago, we didn’t know how bad his health status was. Staying in this hospital is revealing stuff we never imagined. I’m not sure we would be having him had he not been brought here, put on all those transfusions, meds, and all the medical care.

Ongoing Constructions At The RUS Jigger Hospital - Progress report (August 2025).

The foundation for the inpatient block is about complete. Soon we’re starting raising the walls. Thanks Canterbury Family Foundation for donating $10,000! The grind is slow but sure. We shall get there, no doubt about it. This project when completed will be a game changer in the fight against jiggers. We can’t wait to have that with us. We need everyone on board. The surgery was to be done on July 31st, it wasn’t because Meshack’s blood count was still low. Where’s all the transfused blood going? He had five before transfusion, and he’s had nine, why can’t it reach 8.0? I’m having a lot of questions.
